Nathalie Benezet was born into a family of French restaurateurs. She spent much of her childhood in the Parisian restaurants, bars and cafes managed by her parents and grandparents, from whom she has inherited a passion and love for the business and all things food-related.

Over the last decade she has developed and managed several restaurants and retail outlets in the catering and hospitality industry.  In 2009 she was awarded the Grand Prix des Jeunes Createurs du Commerce in France for the development of Macaronde, a store selling a deliciously irresistible combination of ice-cream and macaroons.  Today she lives in Paris and London, and under the sign of Le Petit Paris operates pop-ups (on both sides of the Channel) serving authentic French food, as well as advising French food businesses on how to get a foot in the door in the UK.  In 2013 her book Le Petit Paris – French Finger Food was published by Hardie Grant.
