Jess Hyslop is a writer of fantasy, fabulism, and science fiction. She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and was the winner of the university’s Quiller-Couch prize for creative writing. She now lives in Oxford with a number of slowly decaying houseplants. By day she works as a book conservator, stopping old books from falling apart, while by night she scribbles away creating new ones.
