Angela Wipperman grew up in the Essex countryside, and now lives in London.

She is an alumnus of the Faber Academy novel writing course, and has published short fiction in The Forge, Litro, and elsewhere.

She was highly commended in the Bridport Short Story Prize 2024, long listed for the Craft Flash Prose Prize 2024, and placed third in the 2021 Bridport Flash Fiction Award. In 2025 she was awarded an Arts Council grant to develop her writing.
