Kwaku Osei-Afrifa is a writer and editor living in London. Either side of a two-year stint as a chef, they worked at Canongate, Titan, and Unbound before landing at Hodder & Stoughton's new imprint: Hodder Studio, in March 2020. They have previously written for Manchester Evening News, Huffington Post, and the Bookseller.

Their debut science-ficiton novella, The Surf, was published by Penguin in 2022.
